About Us

Welcome to Inner Wisdom Psychotherapy.

We recognize that deciding to start therapy may not be an easy one and it can take courage to take that first step.  We are here to provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore what your hopes and goals are and how to get unstuck.

 

We recognize that effective therapy is more than just talking and so, we utilize a holistic approach recognizing that much of communication happens on a nonverbal level and the body has its own story to tell.  We are here to help you connect with the power of your breath and expressive movement and other forms of creative expression.

We are committed to helping you tap into the wisdom you possess within you as you learn new ways of thinking and feeling so you can create growth, wellness, and connection for yourself.

We offer:

  • Adult Individual Therapy 

  • Adult Group Therapy

  • Mindfulness Resilience Yoga Class or individual session

  • Workshops

What you can expect in working with us:

  • Client Centered therapy (therapy that is unique to you and goes at your pace)

  • A Therapeutic Plan including goals you have for therapy and how we will proceed in our time working together.

  • How traumatic events have affected you on a body and brain level.

  • Ways to verbally and non-verbally communicate and express yourself will be offered.

  • You will learn how to utilize your body and breath as a resource to navigate through difficult feelings, emotions, and thoughts.

  • That you will explore ways to connect with yourself, the important people in your life, and the activities you love in order to create wellbeing and resilience within.
